Kamado Joe offers one of the most comprehensive warranties in the BBQ industry. The lifetime ceramic warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers the firebox, dome, and body.

Warranty Period

What's Covered

• Cracks or structural defects in ceramic firebox, dome, or body under normal use
• Manufacturing defects in metal bands, hinges, and cart components
• Thermometer inaccuracy due to a manufacturing defect
• Gasket failure not caused by improper use or overheating

What's Not Covered

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidents
• Failure to follow product instructions or improper installation
• Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, discolouration) from normal use or weathering
• Damage caused by use with non-recommended fuels, accessories, or parts
• Rust or corrosion from exposure to coastal/salt-air environments without appropriate maintenance
• Commercial use (unless the product is specifically rated for it)
• Ceramic cracking from thermal shock (rapid temperature changes), overfiring, or use of lighter fluid
• Damage caused by dropping or impact
• Discolouration of ceramic from high heat (a normal characteristic)
• Accessories and consumable items beyond their stated period

How to Make a Claim

1. Contact us via our contact page with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or video clearly showing the defect.
2. If approved, we will arrange next steps with the manufacturer.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
