About Aprons
Aprons for the barbecue and the kitchen, from $17 to $40. The range covers A-League club aprons for Central Coast Mariners, Newcastle Jets and Wellington Phoenix, Ladelle cotton aprons in butcher stripe and women's cuts, and a chef's hat if the occasion calls for it.
What should I look for in a BBQ apron?
Cotton over synthetic, because synthetics melt near open flame and radiant heat. Full length matters more than pockets: the job of an apron at a barbecue is to catch fat spatter across the chest and thighs, which a waist apron will not do.
These are gift-friendly items and a common add-on with a new cooker.
