Important Shipping Notes:
- We cannot deliver to PO Boxes, Private Mail Bags or Parcel Lockers
- Depot pickup options may be available at reduced rates (contact us to discuss)
- Off-mainland deliveries require additional shipping fees (custom quoted)
- Missed deliveries may incur a redelivery fee set by the courier
- All shipments managed through our trusted delivery partners including Border Express, AusPost, Sendle and Aramex
Returns
As outlined in our Refund Policy, we follow the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) which protects consumers by providing certain guaranteed rights when buying goods and services.
You can return items if:
- The product is faulty or not of merchantable quality

- You can present proof of purchase
For change of mind returns:
- Item must be in original condition with tags attached
- Must be returned within 30 days of purchase
- Original proof of purchase required
- Return shipping is at customer's expense
- Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless due to our error

Kamado Joe warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under proper assembly, normal residential use and recommended care, from the date of original retail purchase, for the original purchaser. Register the product on kamadojoe.com within 30 days of purchase and keep your proof of purchase.

- Cracks or structural defects in ceramic firebox, dome, or body under normal use
- Manufacturing defects in metal bands, hinges, and cart components
- Thermometer inaccuracy due to a manufacturing defect
- Gasket failure not caused by improper use or overheating
What's Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidents
- Failure to follow product instructions or improper installation
- Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, discolouration) from normal use or weathering
- Damage caused by use with non-recommended fuels, accessories, or parts
- Rust or corrosion from exposure to coastal/salt-air environments without appropriate maintenance
- Commercial use (unless the product is specifically rated for it)
- Ceramic cracking from thermal shock (rapid temperature changes), overfiring, or use of lighter fluid
- Damage caused by dropping or impact
- Discolouration of ceramic from high heat (a normal characteristic)
- Accessories and consumable items beyond their stated period
How to Make a Claim
Kamado Joe handles warranty claims directly, and they ship any replacement parts straight to you.
- Check the troubleshooting guide for your model on the Kamado Joe support page first. Kamado Joe asks for this before a claim.
- Register your product on the same page if you haven't already.
- Fill in the Contact Us form under "Get Help" at the bottom of that page. Include photos (and ideally a video) of the problem, the serial number and model number from the data plate, your date and place of purchase, a street address (not a PO box), and your proof of purchase.
