Overview
The rundown on the FireBoard 2 Magnetic Base
The FireBoard 2 Magnetic Base holds a FireBoard 2 series unit upright so the screen is easy to read and the probe ports stay reachable. Built-in magnets let it mount on most metal surfaces, and a non-slip bottom lets it sit firmly on a flat surface where there is nothing to stick to.
Use it beside a smoker, on a metal cart or on a bench next to the grill while a long cook runs. It is made for owners of the FireBoard 2 (FBX2), FireBoard 2 Drive (FBX2D) and FireBoard 2 Pro (FBX2K). Do not attach it to the grill lid or grill body, because heat can damage it; the base is rated to a maximum of 150 °F (65 °C).
