Overview
The rundown on the FireBoard Drive Ball Valve Adapter G3
The FireBoard Drive Ball Valve Adapter G3 mounts a FireBoard Drive Blower G3 to smokers and BBQs that already have a ball valve air inlet. It replaces the blower's adapter plate tab, and the blower then attaches using its built-in sliding rail system. The adapter has a 1 inch NPT thread, and common thread reducers or enlargers let it fit other standard pipe threads.
Many drum smokers and cabinet smokers come with a ball valve fitted, so this adapter suits owners of those cookers who want automatic temperature control from a G3 blower. Installation takes a thumb screw and nut. Check which blower you own first: this adapter is for the G3 blower only and is not compatible with the original Drive Blower 20 CFM.
