The rundown on the FireBoard Drive Blower G3 20 CFM Smoker Fan
The FireBoard Drive Blower G3 is a variable-speed blower rated at a maximum of 20 CFM, built to work with the FireBoard 2 Drive to hold a smoker at a set temperature. It has a built-in rotating damper for fine-tuning airflow, and the frame and hardware are stainless steel with a high heat-resistant moulded cover and Edge blower fan.
It mounts to many smokers using the included adapter plates: a Small/Medium plate (70 x 50 mm) and a Large/XL plate (87 x 77 mm). FireBoard lists kamado cookers such as Big Green Egg and Primo as fitting directly, while Weber kettles and Pit Barrel Cookers need the separate Nozzle Adapter and drum smokers need the G3 Ball Valve Adapter (FBBL-G3BVA). - Probe damage from direct flame contact or submersion in liquid
- Cable damage from sharp edges, heavy objects, or improper storage
- Moisture damage to the main unit
- Software or firmware issues (covered by free ongoing updates)
