Overview
The rundown on the FireBoard Drive Blower Nozzle Adapter
The Nozzle Adapter lets you fit the FireBoard Drive Blower to a kettle-style grill or smoker. Its square nozzle rotates, so airflow can be pointed in any direction perpendicular to the fan, and the adapter plate has gaskets built in. FireBoard states it is compatible with both the original (G2) and the G3 Drive Blower.
It suits setups where a custom hole has been drilled in the side of a grill to mount a fan, and FireBoard lists it for Weber Kettle, Weber Smokey Mountain and Pit Barrel Cooker use. When the fan is off, the included gasket insert seals the vent between cooks. The kit includes the square nozzle, the adapter face with built-in gaskets, the insert and a mounting screw. The blower itself is sold separately.
