Overview
The rundown on the FireBoard Food Probe Thermistor SF311T
The SF311T is a 100K thermistor food probe with a sharp tip that slides into meat and other food without much force. It is rated from -18 to 300°C and comes with a 1.8 m (6 ft) cable, so the probe can sit inside the food while the FireBoard unit stays outside the cooker.
The 127 mm (5 in) stem has a 90° bend and a 4 mm diameter, which suits roasts, briskets, whole birds and thick cuts on a smoker, grill or in the oven. It is a replacement or extra probe for FireBoard 2 and FireBoard 2 Drive owners. It plugs in through a 2.5 mm audio jack. It is a thermistor probe, so it does not fit the Type K inputs on the FireBoard 2 Pro.
