The rundown on the FireBoard Pro Series Type K Ambient Probe SANT2K
The FireBoard Pro Series Type K Ambient Probe is a thermocouple probe that reads air temperature inside an oven or grill. It measures from -100 to 650°C at the tip, on a 1.8 m (6 ft) cable rated to 450°C, so the lead can run out of a hot cooking chamber to the controller.
Use it to monitor the cooking-chamber temperature of a smoker, kettle, pizza oven or kitchen oven while your food probes track the meat. It works only with the FireBoard 2 Pro (FBX2K) and will not work with other FireBoard models. The probe can be mounted inside the oven or grill with a FireBoard grill clip, which is sold separately.

Returns

You can return items if:

For change of mind returns:
- Item must be in original condition with tags attached
- Must be returned within 30 days of purchase
- Original proof of purchase required
- Return shipping is at customer's expense
- Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless due to our error

- Rust or corrosion from exposure to coastal/salt-air environments without appropriate maintenance
- Commercial use (unless the product is specifically rated for it)
- Probe damage from direct flame contact or submersion in liquid
- Cable damage from sharp edges, heavy objects, or improper storage
- Moisture damage to the main unit
- Software or firmware issues (covered by free ongoing updates)
