Overview

The rundown on the FireBoard Spark Instant Read Thermometer

The FireBoard Spark pairs a Type-K thermocouple instant-read probe with a leave-in probe port, so one device covers both a quick spot check and a long cook. FireBoard states a reading time of approximately one second and an accuracy of ±0.4°C from -20 to 200°C.

Spark connects over WiFi, Bluetooth and FireBoard Cloud, so temperature data stays available in the FireBoard app while you are away from the grill. Plug in any FireBoard thermistor probe to chart a long smoke or roast, or switch on SyncMode to use Spark as a countertop display for your other FireBoard devices. It suits backyard cooks and pitmasters who want instant reads and cloud logging in one handheld unit.

  • Type-K thermocouple instant-read probe, reads in approximately one second
  • Leave-in probe port for any FireBoard thermistor probe
  • WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE) and FireBoard Cloud connected
  • SyncMode turns Spark into a display for other FireBoard devices
  • IP66 waterproof rating; not for submersion or dishwashers
  • Backlit 192 x 64 LCD
  • USB-C rechargeable 2600 mA Li-Ion battery
